A question about nigri sushi

What kind of fish/seafood does it use

Nigiri is a specific type of sushi consisting of a slice of raw fish over pressed vinegared rice. Sashimi refers to just slices of very fresh fish or meat served raw, often over a bed of shredded daikon radish.

I think nigiri sushi describes the way it is served. It’s sliced raw fish served over bits of rice. The fish can be tuna, yellowtail, salmon, etc. You get to pick.

I think it’s tobiko, which is fish roe (eggs). It’s usually orange but here it’s probably dyed green from wasabi.

Personally I don’t see the way people think it’s something great to eat. I don’t dislike it ,I’ll eat it occasionally , but for me it’s just a block of rice with something stuck on top of it .
