I don’t think I’ve every actually met someone who faked schizophrenia.
I don’t know how Munchausen’s med situation works because I don’t have it.

But you can string together people’s stories after years of watching them.

When I read about this I get the feeling like I am making my illness up and I’m faking it and I’m just that good. Been diagnosis sz for 16 years. Not sure. lol. Not sure.

I’ve heard it before on the forum.
I usually tell let the psychiatrists do the diagnosis and if they believe you have sz, you probably do.

All I know is there a lot of people who Self-Diagnosed theirself with bipolar.
This sounds like a personality disorder.
You can’t diagnose yourself. If she does and already self aware doesn’t make any sense. If you have symptoms its really hard to know you are having an episode without meds.
I knew someone that faked cancer once. It was weird and everyone close to her was super hurt when she confessed

Why would anyone fake sz or sza? it’s hell on earth and experts can figure it out. I once got accused of manipulating asperger’s syndrome though.
This restarted my ‘Am I just socially dysfunctional?’ thinking. One I’d been clear of for several years. I’m not a 100% mentally well, but I’m nearer to that than I’ve been for a long time. It’s hard to think how much I was less well previously.
