Curious about vraylar

Anyone with experience with vraylar? I’d never considered taking it before today but my GP said it might be a good fit when I saw her this morning and brought up how I want to change to a different antipsychotic than risperidone. I have an appointment to go over my meds with a psychiatric nurse practitioner on the 28th and I’m thinking about asking about vraylar. I know it’s a newer med, and I’m reading stuff online about it. It doesn’t sound that bad. I’m just ready for a change after two years of risperidone hell, lol.

I wouldn’t take any med called Vraylar…sounds like an evil Alien from a Star Trek movie.

My doc wants to put me on it. I say I’m fine on Geodon, but she thinks my moods could be better. I’m curious to see what others have to say.

I just got my dose of Vraylar upped from 1.5 mg to 3 mg. It’s working well, especially for paranoia. I also take 80 mg of latuda as my main AP. Vraylar also helps with mood

Unfortunately we don’t have vraylar nor rexulti in the UK. I have no clue wat I’ll go on if abilify stops working.

Perhaps latuda but I’m not overly keen on it
