I don’t want to get into politics. But this labour government are going to be taking a lot of people off PIP.

I’ve decided and my partner has decided if any compensation comes through at this point we are going to go back to work. I will pay for him to get a lorry lisence. As for myself I’d be happy just working at a checkout or stocking shelves. I have a university education but I can’t be asses with the stress of teaching again.

We can’t rely on these benefits anymore. Labour IMO will do a lot of damage.

What is the acronym for PIP? Sorry, I am in North America and don’t quite understand how the care is for mental health patients in the UK are.

Personal independence payment. It’s basically disability

Good luck with working. I might have to go back to work at some point but I hope not. I can survive on SSI but someone on my ACT team said the Social Security Administration wants people who get SSI to work if they can so if things continue to go well with me I’ll probably have to work again.
