A little mind blowing experiment

I went down with 200 mg Seroquel a week ago.
So this morning I just couldn’t withstand the temptation to lower with 100 mg Seroquel down to 500 mg. I don’t think that any of you agree on tapering without a doctor.

I wouldnt advise it. I tried it before. Just tell your pdoc so they can at least set appts to check in on you and keep an eye on you, I guess. If you are going to do it regardless.

Aren’t you the one telling people not to do this? When you aren’t posting on three-year-old topics, that is.

Ozzyman I can not advice anyone to follow in my foot steps and tapper their meds without a doctor involved in that.
But you know the temptation is to strong because I know I must take my 500 mgs Clopixol depot but I just don’t feel that I need qutiapine anymore.
As a matter of fact I believe that I took the qutiapine as a result of the bad effects and side effects of Ziprasidone.

Even though Inhaven’t had the soundest psychosis today I’ve decided to go with my treatments team and take 600 mg Seroquel for the time.

I’m just so happy over that my thoughts slowed down so much that my compulsive thoughts about lowering the Qutiapine totally vanished.
I’m very impressed over that it can lower your thought processing so much that
You don’t change your mind in regards to the treatment every few minuts.
One week has past and now it seems that the most debilitating symptom of schizophrenia I’ve ever had namely avolation apathy finally has resolved.
So I’ll keep the meds at 600 mg of Seroquel.
