A Harvard nutritionist and brain expert says she avoids these 5 foods that ‘weaken memory and focus’
Yep.
This is one reason I’m so passionate about trying to eat healthy. Like strict healthy.
It’s a journey worth exploring for me
There is nothing new there. When I was working out I followed all the rules. I lived a very boring life.
These days I treat myself with junk food and alcohol occasionally. I drink some wine and eat pizza.
For me it may be a ‘boring’ life but I feel good within myself and that matters more to me
I avoid 4 out of 5 out of the list.
If it makes you feel good then why not.
Though I wish alcohol was healthy. Lol.
You can still drink some wine or alcohol with low calories??
I think they say alcohol is not ideal for health for other reasons other than just calories.
Due to properties of alcohol.
I know they say moderation is OK.
I’m just a bit of a weirdo. In a good way
I am going to switch my rice to a healthier version after reading this.
7 months and no alcohol has passed my lips.
I also heard about how Russell brand mentioned in one of his posts that the FDA approved aspartame, even though there are studies saying it increases cases of cancer and disapproved natural stevia as it would affect profits in the existing sugar substitute markets.

When the article talks about fried foods, it mentions foodstuffs which are all deep fried, I haven’t deep fried any thing in years, but I have fried potatoes and stuff in olive oil. Air frying is the way to go to cook crispy chicken wing s though.
Bacon and cured meats are great, but since doing the keto diet last year I haven’t had them. Sorely missed though.
My cognitive abilities are affected by the meds. And I have no choice in that matter…
