2nd dose 1515

I’m getting my 2nd dose of the Pfizer vaccine tomorrow, a little nervous to be honest. I hope I handle it fine.

On my second dose of moderna I got sick for about 8 hours. Chills, fever, runny nose, sneezing, body aches. But then it was gone and I felt fine. It was weird.

Has anyone else got both doses of Pfizer?

Even if you do get a reaction chances are it will be no big deal.

My first dose was Astrazeneca. My arm hurt for a week and I had mild chills fora few days.

My second dose was Pfizer. My arm barely hurt and only for a few days, no side effects at all.

I got my first Moderna shot in March and my second Moderna shot in April (I met early qualifications). I only felt more tired after the second shot; I didn’t feel sick at all. My husband got the J&J, a month or two later, and was violently ill for a few days. It’s bizarre how everyone reacts so differently.

Good luck to you! I hope you hardly notice any side effects, and if you do, I hope they only last for a day or two.

The nurse told me I dont need a 2nd dose as I had covid before but that I can still take it if I wanted. I dont think I am going to get it as the first dose made me sick, vomit all day.

I got both doses of Pfizer and I did not have any soreness or fever or flu-like anything…I hesitate to mention this but I think the blood clotting could also be related to the lockdowns, inactivity, and people being pre-disposed to them. I am not sure it had anything to do with a vaccine or not. Stress is probably the most dangerous to someone’s mental and physical health, its the number one cause of death in the US I think. I already have an issue with inflammation or an over-active immune system. So this could be something that pre-disposed me to a common illness like blood clots.

I definitely also feel like the Pfizer vaccine made me immune to Covid19 and that is a free’ing feeling and stress relief. But I dont want to push it on anyone or say anything against it because Im not a doctor or medical professional. I personally started taking vitamin E and it has helped me its safe and effective, apparently it also helps prevent blood clots. so I instinctively started taking vitamin E and its good for the skin so it could be helpful to take that once or twice a day plus niacine and zinc to boost the immune system and help prevent any stress related to the vaccines effect on the immune system.

overall I believe that getting the vaccine probably reduced my risk of infection and serious re-ocurring covid19 4x as much as if I hadnt gotten vaccinated. I have been around people who are unvaccinated and sometimes I suspected them of covid. I never caught the illness but I try to avoid that because there is still a three or small percent chance of getting ill from covid. You may feel wiped out for a day or so, the second dose I found out is more intense than the first. Mostly all I had was a little soreness on my arm and other than that I was ok. I am still debating if I should ever get a booster shot or how long my immunity will last, or what to do about the delta variant.

I had Astrazeneca/Pfizer and many countries don’t recognize Astrazeneca, they want 2 doses of an mRNA vaccine before you can visit. Quebec just offered a third shot (a second mRNA shot) for people who had Astrazeneca/mRNA so they can travel where they want. I am not from Quebec but I may take a third shot (a second mRNA) if it becomes available just to keep my options open. I don’t plan on travelling but I don’t want to know I can’t.
