Hello -
If I can ask what are you doing/taking daily to keep your sobriety. Asking because at this moment I am sitting here waiting for the all go to pick up my fiance from the police station after being arrested with serious charges. He was released from mental health facility a few weeks ago also and has been spiraling. Meds are an issue. Trying to find he right one along with a good doctor. If you have any help to offer I would so appreciate it.

I used to be more involved in 12-step meetings. I haven’t gone in a while. I try to pray as much as I can or I read the CA, and NA basic text occasionally just to keep one foot in the program.

I will not hang around or get involved with anyone who does drugs or drinks on a regular basis. If someone I know has an occasional glass of wine or an occasional beer that is fine, but if it is a regular thing then I cannot hang around them.

I stay out of bars except sometimes I go to restaurants that have a bar. I will eat there but I never sit down at the bar, not even for a coke. I stay away from bad areas or neighborhoods where people might be doing drugs.

I try to live by the principles of AA, CA, and NA. I’m doing the bare-bones minimum of what it takes to stay clean and sober. I take normal precautions to keep clean.

Awesome Bro! Thank You for your awesome example
