Great news @Three !
I was eating on stress
And that started to be any tiny bit of stress
Food was an answer to everything
Did you lose weight on it?
It’s not a diet
I have however changed my approach
In the fellowship it is Meant to be three moderates meals a day.I was eating more than moderate so yes I eat less and I’ve lost about 10lbs
It’s also avoiding trigger foods,
So no sugar for most
3 moderate meals with nothing in between
Other than maybe a snack usually a portion of fruit if you’re hungry or having an unusual day
Dont forget to cut fat too, it has the most calories per gram, 9/g, carbs/sugar are 4/g.
Good fats are essential
Calories are irrelevant
Good fats keep you full and healthy
When did you last see someone fat who couldn’t stop eating steak rind
Chocolate and biscuits
In moderation yes, and yes if you go over your calories limit you will gain weight for sure. Maybe I misunderstood and you’re not trying to lose weight perhaps?
My mother is doing this keto diet to lose weight and she actually gained weight as she had lots of calories from plants fat. I told her to cut the calories/fats to lose weight but she won’t listen.
Calorie counting is unnecessary
It doesn’t change people’s habits
Moderation is key
Atkins is probably very unhealthy
It works for some ppl while others cant follow it. I was 135lb when I was on a low fat low carb high protein diet. Now I dont diet and I am 285lb
I’m counting calories and in less than a year I’ve lost 86 pounds. I eat less this way but I also eat healthier, because I only have so many calories per day so I check nutrients and macros in everything
Its hard to diet now being on APs and having severe negative symptoms. Sz sucks.
It is one way
I could always lose weight if I stuck to it but I was always too much of a yo-yo
As a rule diets don’t keep people thin forever
Also congrats
But I did that a few times in a starve eat cycle over many years
It’s good you are watching nutrition
I’m considering this a lifestyle change. I plan to keep tracking my food even after I’ve reached my goal weight. I can just think about food and gain. My body gets fat very easily. So I’ve decided to do this as a lifestyle. It’s not hard. I just plan my food a day in advanced and stick to the plan. I’ve had to make adjustments on occasion but overall it works great
The food planning is a major contribution to sticking with it
