I am thinking of going from 15 - to 20 mg of Aripiprazole (with the advice of my doctor), as I am not feeling the effects of the 15 mg very much.
Is anyone taking 20 mg Abilify or has taken it so they can tell me how well they tolerated it?
I’m (still) working full-time and therefore unfortunately can’t rest, which means I would have to stop trying to switch to 20 mg Aripiprazole as soon as the side effects would take over.

I’m on 15mg and that’s working out for me.
20mg was too much for me. I felt like a zombie on it. But everyone is different, it might be just what you need.
To be honest, that’s my fear…
But since, as you mentioned, it depends on the person, I guess I’ll have to try it out.

I feel better now on 15mg than I did on 20.
Tolerance-wise it was ok but I slept too much and my mind felt blank and thoughtless all the time.
Everyone reacts differently. Some people get hypersexuality or gambling issues on abilify. Not my case.
Hi @josh_01, I’m on 20mg Abilify.
The jump from 15mg to 20mg was slightly noticeable by me, but more so by the folks around me— family, therapist, pdoc, etc.
It’s not perfect as I still have positive symptoms and impulsive behavior, but I’ll take it gladly for now compared to other meds/no meds at all.

I’m on 15mg. I want to lower my dose to 10, 5 and eventually no meds. But I’m not living in my country rn and I’m under some amount of stress as well. My doc wants to wait until my life is more stable.
Last time we tried I had a full episode.
20mg was very noticeable for me. 15 is aight atm.
