I have lost weight. Have healthier thoughts. Less delusions. I get extremely tired an hour or two after I take it. I don’t like I’m making stuff up and certain memories make more sense. More down to earth. Less conspiracty theories. I don’t get too high or too low. I managed to get off all supplements except B vitamins, Probiotics, and L Theanine.
The blood tests aren’t a big deal. However, I take them on Monday and the results don’t get to my doc for 24 hours so I have to wait till Wednesday to pick them up.
The tired feeling is very strange. I have weird thoughts where I have torn ACLs when I wake up in the middle of the night. Sometimes I feell like I’m paralyzed if I can get over this it might be the best med I’ve tried.
I’m also on Risperidone which made me hungry so it’s weird that the Clozapine cancels it out. The past few days I’ve cut out thousands of calories per day. It really is a good feeling.
I’m also on clozapine and I was on risperidone, but I changed that. Now I’m on abilify.
I only take my meds before bed, I don’t understand how they prescribe to take in the morning, oh well, hope for the best @TheBest
Maybe I’m not the best example, my dosages are quite low compared with most of the people from this forum…
I take Risperidone in the morning and the Clozapine at night. I’ve heard the tiredness goes away. Is that true @Lenny? My dosage for Clozapine is 200 mg.
I always took both before bed… I changed resperidone cuz tiredness didn’t go away and I was sleeping 11 to 12h and I couldn’t wake up. It got to the point that I woke up to go to class and after I eat breakfast the voices were convincing me to go to bed again, although that happen more recently.
At the beginning I think it helped a lot and I got better grades with it, but after 1 or 2 years I think I was more resistant (I guess I sabotage a bit with smoking things I shouldn’t smoke), the best advice I can give is give a chance on the meds, they could work.
My mum was a family doc and she’s always saying to wait at least 2 weeks for the meds to work, if you still feel tired after 1 month or 2 say that to your doc. They will know better when it’s time to change.
