Today’s the 11th day since I last took a benzo after abusing them for ,6 months. Where should I be in the withdrawal process?? Anyone with personal experiences?

Withdrawal symptoms will come and go in waves for a few months. Probably.

Everybody’s different but this chart seems to suggest that around 10-14 days is the worst.

But benzo withdrawals aren’t like normal withdrawals. They come and go. So be prepared for that.

My withdrawls from clonazepam cuts were over in about 2 weeks, but there is a thing called protracted withdrawl from benzos. The second time I tapered off clonazepam I was on risperidone and never experienced withdrawl. Try benzobuddies.com

I think once I get past the 2 week mark I’ll be alright. I’m at 11 days right now. I am feeling a bit better compared to the first 5-6 daays which was living hell @friscokid12

It also depends on your “abuse”. How badly were you abusing it?

Well done to you. I didn’t really abuse them but as you know I came off them because of a health concern. I’ve done really well and sometimes still get a bit anxious but I deal with it mostly. Good luck. I think your in the good part of the process after that long.

6 months used it every night. Most I got up to was 6 mg at a time but at the end I got down to 1 mg a night before I stopped

That’s not so bad. I think 8mg is the max per day. Your withdrawals shouldn’t be too bad.
