Baby animals are the best. I soooo want to pet a sloth. Going to the national park soon but don’t think they let people touch the animals.
Sloths are so cool I watched a documentary on them in Central America!
Yeah they’re like, ■■■■ that ■■■■ I’m going to take a nap.
When I lived in Panama as a kid, the local children kept sloths as pets.
EU sucks on so many different levels lol
It was beautiful there, but it also had things like giant flying cockroaches.
Yum! When I worked at the nature center they have madagascar hissing cockroaches and dubia cockroaches. I had to stick my hand in the tanks and fill their water, take their food out and give them new food.
When she was training me she said “Don’t worry, the madagascar ones will only hiss at you, the dubia ones will fly, but i’ve never seen it happen!”
Assuring
Although I would die to be this guy
The “flying cockroaches” thing is very reassuring. Long live my sterile civilization!
BTW here’s a turkey to give your thread a balance
@turningthepage. Have you seen the PBS Nature documentary “My Life as a Turkey”? It’s about a guy who raises turkey chicks from the moment they’re hatched. Apparently, the newly hatched turkey chicks accept the guy as their “mother” and he raises them. It’s really interesting.
Here’s the PBS trailer for the short film documentary
The full length documentary is currently not available for viewing on the PBS website, but is available at:
