I adore budgies! I’ve had four: Archie, Swabby, Billy and Lilly… 
Each one an individual being. So wonderful!

They’ve got out of their cages twice! But now my mom put butterfly clips on their door.
It’s funny cuz they never escaped when they were in my apartment…only at home with my parents. They respect my authority!

I used to say, “A birdy’s gotta fly like a fishy’s gotta swim” as I let my birds out into a safe room every day.
If you let them out regularly, then they get used to having exercise time and then going back inside on their own… just a suggestion. I know you love your babies.

Thanks @Hedgehog. I read your post to my mom. We just watched the rockettes at the Macy’s day parade, my mom was a rockette. I say “can you do that?” She says “yes I can!!” I say “not anymore!!” And then she admitted she can’t. Lol.

I recently saw this video of a falcon. It’s so weird that the falcon can keep his head so still.
