Its now been a full month since I’ve had my last cigarette. My breathing has already improved. I’ve been coughing less. I just generally feel healthier.
Also i’m back to exercising again. Feels good.
Anyone else have a quitting smoking success story?
I quit smoking for a ridiculous reason. I had a religious delusion I won’t specify. After I quit I realized I had been in pain those years I smoked and I’m actually allergic to it. The Pink Floyd song WISH YOU WERE HERE comes to mind, the lines, did you think you could tell, heaven from hell?
That’s just great. How old are you and how long had you been smoking?
I quit 8 years ago after having smoked for over 50 years. It was too late to help my lungs but I’m glad I’m no longer addicted and am using my money more wisely.
