I read the chances of a child getting sz if I have it is 1 in 10.

My doc told me its 8% but anyway we are all wonderful people, why people don’t want us

I respect your opinion but for me it’s too much personally.
Especially as I have at least one uncle with sz too. And 2 ppl with pure ocd.
I see how pure ocd affects them and it breaks my heart.
yeah but mental illness has gone up 77% in the Uk over the last 2 years?

It’s not about not wanting them. It’s about not wanting the risk of suffering. Especially if they get terrible side effects or med resistant etc.
I’d be worrying up until they are like 40 years old about them getting pure ocd or sz

I think Mental Health Awareness Week was more important for me but i know what you mean, they are talking about mental health being a human right, idk what that means, i thought it already was, we all want whats best for us anyway.

Yes for some people it’s alright and that’s fine. But for me it’s too high especially because I have those other pureocd issues running in my family too. And it’s at least 1 or two uncles with sz too, I’m guessing the risk goes up for me for suffering kids. I just personally can’t take that risk.
Anyway I can’t afford kids so that influences my decision too. I literally am bankrupt and in debt atm. With no job.
I owe the government and family members money.
I need a job ASAP.
