i have alot of racing thoughts sometimes and blank out alot when i should be focusing or talking.

I have this too, its a negative symptom.
My pdr told me there is no meds yet for negative symptoms. Roluperidone and KarXT are future meds that might treat negative symptoms like apathy, avolition, anhedonia, self-neglect, poverty of thought, asociality, blunted affect and alogia.

Yeah ever since I had sz iv had a blank mmind.My voices say they disconnected brain tissue but iam sure it’s the meds
It’s hard for me to absorb new info, I have a pretty good memory of past events but learning new stuff is a difficulty

I feel you, I don’t have much creative thought either. Or the thought of “I should do this”. I just have to do it. It’s hard for me to plan for future stuff too

My mind is always empty too. That’s why I always had such an easy time meditating. I didn’t know that was a negative symptom called poverty of thought. I’ve heard of poverty of speech but I don’t have that.

Yeah, I mean if I start meditating I’ll just have bad thoughts or that’s what I always seems to happen. And same- I can usually carry on a conversation
