My new Health Insurance says that I have to use the generic Clozaaril/ clozapine. My Dr. said when it 1st came out, he didn’t think it worked as well, but my meds manager says he knows many on it who do fine - we just have to watch the blood levels carefully. After being on Clozaril for awhile, I was thinking of switching to something else and asked folks on this post what their experiences had been. Many, from all over the world said, do not go off Clozapine, as when you try to go back onto it (as by many it is considered the longest med with positive results), you have to take a higher quantity of the med in order to get back to the level where it was helping you before. Any thoughts/ experiences to share welcome. Thank you
