In school a teacher would tell me off for talking to the floor while he was talking to me.
In a maths class, I often did not pay attention not just cos of the bullying but now I understand it was potentially something to do with my attention span… there was one time when I said I understood when I didn’t in front of the class… the teacher took me away from the class in front of everyone… to tell me off. It was awful and I probably would have thrived in a special school had I known sooner. But what’s done is done.
Lol…true story of my life as well
Not in school but life.
I was yelled at for daydreaming. I spaced out all the freaking time. Even in recess lol.
Today I am amazed I passed through school. I retained nothing it seems.
I remember days in grade school I would do things like climb up on my desk and my teacher would always yell at me to sit back down.
I was in one special class but because I tested high on academic achievement tests I was not placed in any others. I obviously needed to be though!!!
@anon25873142 Sorry you struggled. Are you still getting assessed? Will you take meds if you are diagnosed with adhd?
I’m sorry you were bullied.
Kids as well as adults can be tough.
It takes thick skin to get through it without permanent damage.
Im still going to get assessed im on the wait list… it’s going to be a while until I get seen… I’ve not decided about the meds, but I am keeping my options open.
