@FatMama Do you have lozenges?

You’re probably just craving your regular routine.

Just pop in a lozenge, go to your regular smoke spot and just pretend to smoke.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes @FatMama.
It’s really amazing what you’re doing.
Just the decision on its own is an amazing step

hey @FatMama I am on day one too…ignore the craving…stop romancing smoking one…don’t think the way you did when you were a smoker…become a non smoker and don’t think about cigs…

Hang in there. Quitting is worth the discomfort. You can do it.

Thank you all for the encouragement. I appreciate you all :blush:

Go cold Turkey. You have to get nicotine out of your system to stop craving it. It’s the only way I successfully quit.

When I quit for a few months i used lozenges sparingly and always had a halls cough drop in my mouth.

Keep going, you can do it.

Actually, when a large amount of a substance leaves the body fairly fast; the cravings tend to be more stronger.

They tell you the most successful way to quit is to go cold Turkey. I found this to be true.

I never liked the cold turkey method, imo.

It’s like taking away a cane from a senior and telling them to continue walking, instead of slowly practicing on their own.

Yes it’s an addiction and it sucks. You gotta stop yourself from being addicted to it. Not find another way to continue your addiction.

I’ve been doing some calculating and I’m going to put $80 in savings a month to use for Christmas. That should give me close to enough. And it’ll be nice to see how quitting makes a difference
