You can't always judge a person's ability to function by how they are on a forum

I come over better on forums than IRL because they play to my verbal strengths . Some people are the opposite . Truth is I’d struggle to cope without quite a lot of support according to the woman at my recent post diagnostic appointment . I’m also seen as a vulnerable adult.

Bottom line -you can’t always judge how a person is from how they perform on a forum.

I think you’re a little paranoid. No one’s judging you. None of us know you outside of this forum, none of us doubt your diagnosis, and none of us are going to sit there and run any of your posts through a mental autism scanner to see if you’re lying or whatever. You say you’ve been diagnosed with autism? Okay, then you have autism. And even if you don’t have autism, we have absolutely no way of finding that out short of you confessing. I’d even go as far to say that, if you did confess to lying about having autism, there’d probably be one thread where it was discussed, and then we’d all move on, because it really doesn’t matter, at least not to me. The main things that we care about are whether or not you’re taking your meds, where your symptoms lie on a scale of “nonexistent” to “all-consuming,” whether you are safe, stuff like that. Really, you’re good where you are.

That’s why I don’t put too much stock into this forum. Because it is the internet and we don’t always know what’s going on on the other side of the wires were using to connect to one another…

I don’t put much stock into what “experts” say. You have always come across as highly intelligent.

It’s not about whether someone is judging or not , as to whether one fits a diagnosis. It also has nothing to do with paranoia . It’s about how things can be deceptive either waywhen seeing someone through the lens of forum participation . It’s a reminder that life on this forum is not the b all and end all of how a person is and does.

As for your end points - yes(on depot- so hard to avoid, especially as she comes to my flat), schizophrenia symptoms are probably milder than many here, Asperger’s hard to judge (Social communication 3(Autism level) and social interaction 5(autism level is 6) . The sum of the parts of having both Asperger’s and schizophrenia isn’t small., Safe- more safe where I am than I was . On hindsight at my previous place I was self neglecting .
