I’m guessing this next gen of consoles will be the last with physical copies for its games. Digital only is pretty inevitable in my opinion, it cuts the cost for the publisher by so much.
I’m switching over to PC gaming only after this current generation. I just dont enjoy console gaming as much as I used to.
I agree with @agent101g; things are going to go digital. It makes me wonder if Game Stop will go the way of Blockbuster. I hope they are innovative enough not to.
I think you are both correct. Gamestop will be a thing of the past like Blockbuster sadly and gaming will be digital after these last consoles. I expect both those things to be very likely.

A good example of this is new laptops. They don’t generally have Blu Ray/ CD players.
How does that work then? How would you store DVDs ?
Xbox 2 and PS5 is going to be lit the AMD cpu and gpu looks good its going to cost a lot though
You can still get external DVD burner drives.
