Xanax is a medication that really helped. Why won’t the doctors prescribe it to me? I have no history of abuse and really wish they would prescribe a therapeutic dose. It really makes a world of a difference with me. I have constant high blood pressure, sweats, panic and tunnel vision from anxiety and fear of the world. It’s really frustrating I wish they would hear me out and help me. Instead they give me tons of different antipsychotics that are less researched and have way more terrible side affects.

Just keep researching it and be persistent in asking and you’ll receive it
I’ve had no trouble in the past getting xanax with a diagnosis of sz. My doctors are and have been understanding. They don’t prescribe because others abuse it. Not saying you are but because people use them recreationally or with other drugs drs are reluctant to give you a script.
I have a prescription. .25 1x daily.
My wife has one too. .5 3x daily.
It just depends on who is your doctor
i have the issue mine wont prescribe she only told me to up my abilify dose from 10mgs to 15mgs anf she said it would help but it didnt lol
My pdoc prescribe it like candy. She technically force me to accept benzodiazepine

Went to the doc today. He gave me five .5 Xanax a month. I don’t know why he won’t just give me a daily script. Guess I’ll just have five good days a month…
