Any clothes I wear is schizophrenic clothing, lol.
What the â â â â is schizophrenic clothingâŚâŚanywayâŚno thanks.
It is probably disordered.
Sometimes, but not intentionally. For example I went to pick up paint for my minivan at a store called âCanadian Tireâ here in Canada. I ordered it online for curbside pickup but when I got there and called they said I had to come into the store to get it. I was wearing one of my schizo t-shirts and pajama bottoms. I went into the store anyways because I didnât feel like driving all the way home to change, lol
Fun fact: In Canada âCanadian Tireâ is nicknamed âCrappy Tireâ but itâs been around for a long time.
Thatâs funny no way would I go in with my PJs lolol
@shutterbug , what kind of visual artist are you?
Photographer. Portfolio at link.
Yes I would if I had a mental health themed t shirt. That would be great to have! Iâm always for self expression
Gorgeous photos! Iâm very impressed. Good for you!
what about schizophrenic underwear
I donât see the purpose of having âschizophreniaâ or âpsychosisâ on any article of clothing.
Any kind of saying on clothing I find is in bad taste.
So- this might have been judgmental of me, but the other day a girl I followed on Instagram posted a photo of herself wearing a hat that said âcute but psychoâ. I automatically went and unfollowed her and removed her from following me.
I have writing on about 1/4 of my shirts in rotation. I have one on now that says â2020â , with writing made apparent to be related to covid 19. with a rating of 1 out of 5 stars" âreview: Horrible, would not recommendâ I donât see how its in bad taste. Just reflecting displeasure with Covid.
I think its just a personal preference, which is ok.
Iâm sorry but I donât like advertising my disorder
The fact people think they have to show off anything is bad taste. Then thereâs the less fortunate reality of it intending to be funny, or enlightening, and it failing miserably.
Thatâs your opinion, and Iâm fine with it. Itâs not âshowing offâ to display contempt for Covid IMO. But thatâs fine. I have my opinion and you have yours.
We all should get âschizophreniaâ tattooed on our chests in old English.
I think itâs attention seeking, definitely. Why do you have to say anything on a t-shirt, except for someone else to read it.
But yea, your opinion doesnât sway mine, and thatâs fine.
It was actually a gift, if that makes you feel any better. I did not purchase it for the sake of âshowing offâ. But I have no issues wearing it, and think it expresses my view on the Covid and it being a bad year. There is nothing wrong with expressing your views.
You are doing it right now. Is it your intent to show off?
The difference is, Iâm not walking around town hall, or a mall, begging to be heard. Which is what you do when you wear such things out and about. The reality is, people arenât enlightened just because they see someone with âschizophreniaâ plastered on them. They donât suddenly experience empathy, or are encouraged to find out more about it for their own personal understanding.
Also, my identity is unknown here. If I knew any of you in my personal life, you wouldnât know I had psychosis, which brings me around to my original point. My personal life is not an advertisement, and I am not a billboard.
That doesnât mean I donât find value in expressing myself in an anonymous way.
