Any clothes I wear is schizophrenic clothing, lol.

It is probably disordered.

Sometimes, but not intentionally. For example I went to pick up paint for my minivan at a store called “Canadian Tire” here in Canada. I ordered it online for curbside pickup but when I got there and called they said I had to come into the store to get it. I was wearing one of my schizo t-shirts and pajama bottoms. I went into the store anyways because I didn’t feel like driving all the way home to change, lol

Fun fact: In Canada “Canadian Tire” is nicknamed “Crappy Tire” but it’s been around for a long time.

Yes I would if I had a mental health themed t shirt. That would be great to have! I’m always for self expression

what about schizophrenic underwear

I don’t see the purpose of having “schizophrenia” or “psychosis” on any article of clothing.

Any kind of saying on clothing I find is in bad taste.

So- this might have been judgmental of me, but the other day a girl I followed on Instagram posted a photo of herself wearing a hat that said “cute but psycho”. I automatically went and unfollowed her and removed her from following me.

I have writing on about 1/4 of my shirts in rotation. I have one on now that says “2020” , with writing made apparent to be related to covid 19. with a rating of 1 out of 5 stars" “review: Horrible, would not recommend” I don’t see how its in bad taste. Just reflecting displeasure with Covid.

I think its just a personal preference, which is ok.

I’m sorry but I don’t like advertising my disorder

The fact people think they have to show off anything is bad taste. Then there’s the less fortunate reality of it intending to be funny, or enlightening, and it failing miserably.

That’s your opinion, and I’m fine with it. It’s not “showing off” to display contempt for Covid IMO. But that’s fine. I have my opinion and you have yours.

We all should get “schizophrenia” tattooed on our chests in old English.

I think it’s attention seeking, definitely. Why do you have to say anything on a t-shirt, except for someone else to read it.

But yea, your opinion doesn’t sway mine, and that’s fine.

It was actually a gift, if that makes you feel any better. I did not purchase it for the sake of “showing off”. But I have no issues wearing it, and think it expresses my view on the Covid and it being a bad year. There is nothing wrong with expressing your views.

You are doing it right now. Is it your intent to show off?

The difference is, I’m not walking around town hall, or a mall, begging to be heard. Which is what you do when you wear such things out and about. The reality is, people aren’t enlightened just because they see someone with “schizophrenia” plastered on them. They don’t suddenly experience empathy, or are encouraged to find out more about it for their own personal understanding.

Also, my identity is unknown here. If I knew any of you in my personal life, you wouldn’t know I had psychosis, which brings me around to my original point. My personal life is not an advertisement, and I am not a billboard.

That doesn’t mean I don’t find value in expressing myself in an anonymous way.
