I would rather be not very rich and healthy. Guaranteed almost everyone is going to pick this.

Not only because its better to be healthy and not have much money, but because if you are healthy, you can make money in the long run.

Am I allowed to use the money to treat the schizophrenia after the fact? The obvious answer is healthy and poor. You can’t really enjoy the money depending on how severe the schizophrenia is. I remember there was an afternoon in either 2018 or 2019 where I had a break in my negative symptoms. It only lasted like 30 mins but I was playing bloodbourne and everything just felt alive again. I could feel the atmosphere of the game, playing was satisfying and fun, everything just felt amazing. There’s no amount of money I would trade for that feeling.

Agreed. I wouldnt only take being healthy or poor over a millionaire. I would take healthy and poor over Bill Gates money. A billionaire.

If I had my needs met I’d be poor and healthy. I’ve been schizophrenic so long, I can’t imagine how cool it would be to be healthy again.

People make the cardinal mistake for assuming wealth make you happy. It Doesnt. You just gain another set of problems to deal with.

I’d rather be rich with problems than poor with problems. Almost all of my problems in life have been because I had little to no money.

Agreed. I’m okay on these meds, I think they do help

I’d take life-changing money, as well

I’d trade financial security for a heart that works properly.

You also gain the ability – and freedom – to cope with problems on a whole new level.

Mentally healthy beats financially independent in my book.
