I have a wait and see attitude. Things could go either way.
If they nuked the entire Western world it would be a suicide mission on their part. We donât even have to respond. A nuclear winter would ensue killing virtually all life on Earth, themselves included.
There would be a few survivors though, plenty of bunkers around the world, but most of humanity would be wiped out.
No one wins WW3 and everyone with a rational mind knows that. We can only hope the leaders of nuclear armed countries are rational.

This is a time where I wish I could just say, âNo, donât worry, thatâs just paranoia talkingâ
But, with recent events around the world, who knows what is possible. Especially when there are credible threats made with nukes.
Iâm sorry that I canât ease those fears like that.

Letâs just make sure this thread doesnât veer into politics. With current events I believe you need a place to get support for these fears.

Yeah. Iâm worried too. Not so much for myselfâŚif I die, I die. If I suffer, I suffer. But more for my son, and his freedom, and the world he will live in. And all the other kids.
My family is still in the âoh, our government is sweet and our country the best and most honest of the world and of course your son will grow up safe, because itâs great hereâ-camp. So Iâm not finding much support here with them.

I agree with @Headspark 's comments. I think any rational world leader would know that they sign their own death certificate if they launch full out nuclear war. The possibility does exist, but I think itâs unlikely.
Either way, there is not a darn thing the average person can do about it, so I donât see the point in worrying. We should try not worry about things we have no control of. I know this is easier said than done.
The most likely scenario is that current events will pass without nuclear war and this will leave us to worry about the same thing when the next crisis pops up 5 or 10 years down the line.

I really am trying to not turn this into politics, but there is a certain world leader that lies consistently. I realize that itâs scary for you, but remember that you are dealing with a person who does not say what he truly intends. Iâm very confident any nuclear threats are nothing but sabre rattling in an attempt to get their way.

depends who you listen to, what is the truth then? does anybody know what the actual truth is? we need to have true accounts of what happens so who do we trust?
