The owners rent it out to holiday makers but just checked their website - is unavailable for a few months. Must be having no guests while they are doing work.
Means I can not worry about creaking the floorboards if I stay up late

Spoke a bit too soon. We still have guests just now. So I will keep the volume down

I fell asleep! But the stew was on low in the slow cooker so it was fine. Turned out well!
