I got the brain vitaminz 180 gram and it’s good quality. Comes with a handy 1 gram scooper (small) … And the taste is almost sugary. Granules are larger than sugar … Similar to margarita salt. Very easy to dissolve into anything and then just drink it. The jarrow sustain 600mg NAC I got was from Amazon is time release and fairly small multi vitamin sized and no taste. No side effects from either so far.

I don’t know if it will work for me but if there is a chance it could help, I have to try. :slight_smile: I was on the Brain Vitaminz site but I am going to research on the profrontal because of the addition of NAC… don’t know what that is but if it is a key addition then I might go that way. ty again for your help :slight_smile:

It’s really not either a stimulant or depressant, it works on the negative symptoms of schizophrenia. I can smile and laugh for the first time in years and have started feeling pleasure in day to day activities for the first time in my life. I don’t know what to do with myself! If it doesn’t work at first keep trying, I’ve been on it for a good 6 months and I’m still seeing improvements.

I ordered from BrainVitaminz about a month ago now, they took my money and never sent me anything… I emailed them and they won’t even reply to emails… what a scam, that was money I didn’t have to waste on nothing. :frowning:

isn’t sarcosine just a bunch of vitamins and amino acids in a pill. Couldn’t you just take a cheaper alternative…buy one down the vitamin shop…or am I misguided about this?

Thanks @Karl … yeah idk I gave them the benefit of the doubt and then emailed them and no reply in almost a week so at the very minimum it is the poorest customer service I have ever encountered. :frowning: As for it being vitamins and amino acids, idk … it is a specific “amino acid” if that is what it is called… sarcosine… most people’s bodies make it, I guess… you can’t get it at the vitamin shop.

BrainVitaminz is a very good business - they always respond quickly to my questions. I will pass your message on to them. If you live outside the USA shipments could have been rejected by the customs at your country - every country has different rules about importing vitamin and supplements like sarcosine.

@SzAdmin Thanks I appreciate that. I already emailed them on the 24th of this month and no reply. The order number is #Sarc11018… and I get that shipments can be rejected at the border but I am in Canada so it should have been fine… if it had been rejected, they would have gotten it back and been able to match up the order number to let me know and refund my money. One would think so anyhow.

I took sarcosine daily for around a month. I felt that it worked at start but the effects did not last. Might have just been placebo. Now taking theanine, noopept, acetyl-l-carnitine, alpha gpc and uridine in addition to 54mg Concerta and 5mg Olanzapine. I started taking 2.5mg noopept daily 4 days ago and have been really productive for that time. I have been feeling almost normal for the last 3 days. Hope this will last. Going to try this supplement and medication for some time to see if it lasts :smile:
