Because of negative symptoms it’s kind of hard to cook healthy meals for some. It’s the case with me.
I was thinking of maybe preparing food for 4 days like meat/fish/poultry and vegetables, and keep it in the fridge and eat it 4 days in a row.
Will it be safe to eat food that has been in he fridge for 4 days? If we’re talking about the food I mentioned above.
If I can do this, then I will have 4 nutritious meals for dinner a week. Then the rest I can do premade food. This way I have to put in effort one time a week, and I don’t get nutrient deficient.
You might be better off to do the prep for 4 meals at once, but only cook each portion individually.
I also struggle with this. I usually do meal prep for two meals at once. But I don’t cook from scratch that often.
I’m in the same boat. I’ve been batch cooking on the weekends and then I just store the the food in the freezer, it wont spoil and it still tastes good.
I also only do it for a few days then for the rest of the week, I have already prepared or frozen meals.
Yea I wouldn’t put them in the fridge for 4 days. That’s about the limit for me time-wise. Personally I’d put them in the freezer then maybe move them to the fridge the night before or something
I had a pretty healthy and simple dinner today. Shrimps on bread with mayonnaise. The shrimps was already ready to eat, pealed. This is a thing people sometimes eat in my country, not sure about America? It’s damned tasty. I think if you buy shrimp to peal yourself they taste better though.
I don’t eat vegetables everyday. And personally I think that’s fine. Sure, it’s optimal for health to eat them every day, but I also think 4-5 times a week is fine. (without being an expert)
