Are they saying KarXT will be available ealry 2024?

Only in the USA.

Here’s what bing chatGPT had to say

According to the web search results, KarXT is an oral, investigational M1/M4-preferring muscarinic agonist in development for the treatment of psychiatric and neurological conditions, including schizophrenia and psychosis in Alzheimer’s disease¹. It is the first potential new pharmacological approach for treating schizophrenia in over 50 years² and may provide an alternative option for people living with the condition².

KarXT has successfully completed two phase 3 clinical trials in the United States, showing significant improvement in both positive and negative symptoms of schizophrenia without the common side effects of current antipsychotic therapies³⁓. However, there is no official information about when KarXT will be available in Europe. The company behind KarXT, Karuna Therapeutics Inc., has stated that partnerships would likely be essential to enter the European market³. Therefore, it may take some time before KarXT can be approved and distributed in Europe.

I think they are guessing KarXT availability 2nd half of 2024. No NDA application yet, and application takes 9 months usually.

My psychiatrist was right when she said that all the antipsychotics were the same.

Doubt anything will beat clozapine because it can literally kill you

I don’t think they are all the same, different meds affect different people in different ways.
