I don’t think he was trying to be insulting to me but he did kind of speak to me in that fashion…
Why do you think that? What were the signs?
I don’t know. Thats just the impression I got…
You could have asked it your doctor
Maybe it’s just the way he is you might not be the only one. But in the other hand we need to be careful about reaction to our enterputations as we all know our sz does destort it at times especially at the beginning of our diagnosis as we don’t always recognize it as easily.
When I see a healthcare professional, like a dr or nurse at the ER and they find out I have sza they always start treating me differently. It’s like there are different rules for us or something.
I’m 100 pounds overweight and I asked my dr for help with losing weight and he told me I could be skinny or sane, I’m serious. Then when my husband got his A1C results from the same dr he told my husband to lose weight, well my husband might be 5 pounds overweight. So see there are definitely different rules for us. Pisses me off!
Some doctors do this to me even if they know know of my diagnosis, I think a glance is enough for them to get my diagnosis
You hit it on the nail!
So true!
Doctors can just be arrogant sometimes. I don’t like that behavior at all, I have had a doctor actually mock me before and I immediately stopped seeing her and made a complaint.
