It is often a subconscious action, where the human automatically seeks out mate compatibility. Smell is also a factor in gene selection, so you may find people subconsciously smelling their hand without realising it after contact.

There is a deliberate act of checking someone else out as well which shows more intent, however everyone does it, as women check out the crutch area too, consciously and subconsciously.

I have a bad habit of overdoing the looking. There is an art to it I haven’t mastered. When I look a woman up and down I am checking out her curves - her sex appeal.

@Diana_Ross7 You’ve asked this same question several times recently. This seems to be a bit of a preoccupation of yours. Do you have any insight as to why this is?

When i check out other people i make it look natural. It is not nice to analyze people like that. But i do check people their dress shoes hair etc to make an observation on their personality type and fashion sense.
