Why won’t they let me change to pills

Well maybe more convenient for u

I doubt that. Sounds more like a delusion. You have a belief that meds do that and are going down a rabbit hole.

We’ve told you, again multiple times, Abilify doesn’t do that. It has a lower side effect profile than say, Invega.

can’t have delusion on meds

And I’m speaking from experience. I was on a med that actually did that.

Oh, yes you can have delusions and fixations on meds.

But how does that work

It means the medicine isn’t strong enough or you are resistant to that med for some.

I don’t have any beliefs of now

You believe the meds are making you stupid.

Yeah but that’s reality

I seriously doubt it. You’re just fixated.

@Crystal-Cotton you are delusional and out of control.

I could say the same of you. How did you arrive into this conclusion?

@Qwerty , don’t get confrontational. She’s very young and unexperienced in psychosis.

I’m not dumb you know

Being very young and inexperienced is not dumb.

If you corporate and show them you can be trusted with meds , it might be an option in future for you to switch… i was given meds , I took them as prescribed for a 5 years… at this point when I asked if I could make changes to the meds they also helped me in making those decisions

I take pills since 2014. I had shots when i was hospitalized, i was young and i didn’t understand i needed. I didn’t refuse pills, so they trusted me. I think pills is better than shots but you can’t forget to take the pills.

I also feel abilify is one of the better ones shot wise , although everyone is different… if it isn’t helping there are other shots that they may look into so you’ll find one that’s right hopefully

IDK man, I always preferred the shot. Takes 10 minutes at the clinic once a month and I don’t have to worry about skipping doses with pills because I forgot to take them or running out of medication. It makes my life just a tiny bit easier.
