Why do people see mental illness in me when I don't see it myself?

I ask my support staff if they’ve ever seen me mentally unwell and they always say they have but I honestly think I’ve never been mentally unwell. Been sectioned 14 times but this is because I’ve been drunk. Am I really mentally unwell?

Been on the injection continuously for over 10 years and on a community treatment order so I’m forced to take the injection.

Maybe you lack some insight into your illness.
This is common with SZ and other psychotic disorders

In my reports they say Iack insight @Wave

I know I’ve been unwell and at the time I lacked insight but even now I don’t feel like I have major symptoms but others always ask why I look so scared and anxious

That’s just the way it is, there’s times when people see stuff about us that we can’t see ourselves. You probably do it to other people too.

Youve been sectioned 14 times because you were drunk. I would think that alone shows youre not mentally well

Finally i get some reality and someone told me i faked it all to get free hands out. That is so insane.
I could cry all day.

You look normal to me

I remember when you were trying to get an mri to get the camera/recording device or whatever out of your armpit that is being unwell

People revealed me to myself. I saw I was a kid, a special case. Now that I can see myself as I really am I’m ready to move on.
