Why do many of us sleep in our clothes?

Probably because a lot of them have negative &/or depression symptoms. @Wave

Taking off your clothes before sleep is worth it for the increase in sleep quality you’ll get. Even if you have negatives, damn take your clothes off dude.

I wear the same clothes for 3 days but then change, I also don’t feel comfortable sleeping in leggings so I change.

I never slept in my daily clothes, nope lol… I am obsessive though and i sleep in my pjs…
My thing is that after i come back at home in the afternoon, i put my pjs at home, which my family finds weird though. I walk half the day at home in pjs, i think this is the negatives though heh…
I change my clothes for the outside every day, but this is too much too, this one is a bit manic in fact…
I know a guy, who was a normie and he also used to sleep in his clothes if too tired etc, its not only a sz thing, its life maybe heh… Huggies  :hugs: :hugs:

Cause if we sleep naked, the cats would hurl on our tummies and that’s gross.

Technically i do. Cos im in pajama bottoms all day anyway. I only get briefly dressed going to the corner shop, then get back into them. Changed every day tho.

Its just comfortable not having underwear around your crown jewels.

Only if I fall asleep in my chair or on the couch. I generally sleep in my birthday suit. I am careful about wearing clean clothes as well.

I used to as well for several years…until I started getting paranoid about being trapped outside like that in case of fire…lol.

I think you live in a detached house but I live in connected townhomes in a not so great neighborhood.

As to the original post, I usually run around in leggings and tee all day, and then just sleep in that. Change the next morning. I do have PJ bottoms I wear with tees, but I prolly only bother to change into them once a week.

Yeah for me it’s most likely negative symptoms and depression

I really no longer sleep in my street clothes but I have a couple of times in the past

I’d shower less, but I get crazy hair usually that only gets corrected properly when washing my hair.

The act of changing clothes makes me feel vulnerable. I wear day clothes to bed all the time.

I have issues

Changing clothes is painful for me now that I’m old and arthritic. But I still prefer sleepwear now that I live in a home. When I lived alone, I slept in my clothes a lot. Insensitive to comfort.

You’re not alone. That’s why I only shower every other day, and only while Chris is downstairs near the front door.

I have issues too my friend. :hugs:

I never do, I will wear my night clothes a lot but if I’m going to town or in public I will get dressed in day clothes… I wear a lot of dresses while out, I absolutely love dresses with petie coats under them

I can’t sleep in pants or a bra. Forget it. I have to be dead tired to sleep in my clothes.
