I’m not sure if it’s racing thoughts or stress but my brain is tired , my body is tired and I feel like ■■■■.
Honestly, I think you’re not in a good place mentally to work. I think you should focus on getting well mentally and then try again. I could be wrong but that’s how it seems
i feel this way every day around 5 pm.
utterly fried and i did nothing.
I thought I was well. Hence why I decided to give it ago. But maybe I haven’t worked through the things I needed to work on.
Oh, that makes sense. I’ve tried to work since going on disability. Like you, I thought I could handle it. Once I started though everything fell apart really fast.
I think it may well be racing thoughts. Because I can’t seem to stop it.
Can you take things step by step?
First volunteer
Work 2 or 3 half days a week
Take it from there
I agree with @TheFountainPen
Volunteering might be easier on the mind for me or some craft classes maybe too.
Mental stress causes release of cortisol whoch in turn makes you tired. You can also release adrenaline and the crash makes you exhausted.
- Find a private psychiatrist
- Go on disability (you can no longer work)
- Ask your doctor to go on a mood stabilizer
Because bad thoughts cause physical reactions like tenseness, racing heart, constant adrenal fatigue. Phychosis can tire you physically 100%
Im thinking Im having a mixed episode but all I am experiencing from mania is racing thoughts. And I feel depressed … I might ask for a mood stabilizer
I have racing thoughts
Intrusive thoughts
I am constantly battling with my brain
Do you work part time or full time
The job is part time. Luckily I had booked next week off before I started so I have time to think things through
