My pdoc wrote this or similar a couple of times to my report.
“residual condition”

But I have zero psychotic thoughts now, “only” moderate to severe negatives and cognitives.

She must meant all the consequences my illness left on my life in general.

My CPN used that word on me too after I came out of the hospital…I think it might mean something like not as ‘major’ positive symptoms as they were before

I think it’s when you don’t have positive symptoms anymore… or you just have them a lot less. the SZ is still there but it’s less “active”

Residuals are symptoms left over after treatment of sz (either positive or negative) or depression.
