I am watching the elections. Liberals are winning.
I am watching live on Prime, its Global News channel but on Amazon Prime.
I’m not in Canada but I decided not to vote last time, despite the 3.2 million items in the mail I received urging me too. I was not impressed with either candidate in the US elections. With 330 million people in our country you would think we could do better.
I was going to vote either NDP or green party. Not that I would expect either party to win, but rather to keep the Machinery of democracy as diverse as possible. The binary system where there is only two parties causes a lot of division
In general, I’m not at all impressed with the backseat that climate change has taken. These problems have been developing for fifty years, time to act
I voted, I always do. I’m watching on CTV. The libs are in the lead with 23 seats, the cons with 9 and everyone else is 0 according to my TV. But it is still super early.
I didn’t vote this year. No point. Not exposing myself to The Rona for a predetermined outcome.
I didn’t vote, I never vote lol
I didn’t vote…

I’d vote if they could actually nominate someone that I could be excited about. I have no motivation to get out and vote if I have to choose the least bad of two bad choices.
These politicians don’t give a shiit about us.
CTV just declared a Liberal win. They are debating on whether it will be a majority or minority now.
Edit: Now they are declaring a Liberal minority government, it seems the NDP has the balance of power.
I don’t think it’s a bad thread but commentary is political and against site policy.
