I like Alcides Escobar. Haven’t watched him in years though. I just remember how good he was in the minor leagues

that’s tough, i have had so many favorite players growing up, alot of guys connected to cincinnati. in baseball i was always a big barry larkin fan. and in basketball i liked nick van exel.
other than that it would have to be an indiana boy, like larry bird. im not really sure anymore though as sports arent as important to me anymore. i have a friend who is a big sports fan and has favorite players and has a room full of sports memorabilia with autographed items in his house.
o yeah and i always got a kick out of chad “ochocinco” johnson in football.

My cousin was a huge Reds fan. She had a bunch of Reds baseball cards. I think she even had a Pete Rose bobble head doll.

yeah i know they have alot of fans in west virgina. on the local sports talk on the radio, they always get callers from west virginia. that’s cool though, pete rose was a little before my time, but he has a lot of loyal supporters in cincinnati to this day.

another guy i used to like when he played for the reds. was a guy from new england named ryan hanigan. he was never drafted, but worked his way into the major leagues as a free agent. he was a great defensive catcher and had a good On Base Percentage on offense. and he always spit in all his interviews haha. they call guys like him “grinders”
