Who let the dog out?

Maggie was tripping out. My dad looked outside and saw that “Fred”, a neighobors dog was running around the neighborhood. So he let him in the house and then we got him out in our backyard with Maggie.

The bizarre thing is that my dad called the neighbor on his cell, and he was not home. He had no idea how he got out. I don’t believe he was in the yard, at least thats the impression I got, I think he escaped from the house somehow.

He is always getting loose. Our neighbor is in his late 70’s though, so maybe he left something open that he shouldnt have. I don’t know.

It can be a little amusing when he gets loose frankly, because the guy is overweight and not super fast or mobile. So he just stands out in his yard going “Fred!, Fred get over here! Fred! Fred! Cmon Fred!” And the dog just runs all over the neighborhood, completely ignoring him.

We had a neighbor with a constantly escaping dog.

He was a weenie dog named Bosco.

The lady would stand in the front yard and scream “BOSCO!!!” in the most NYC accent that ever happened.

Drove my dad insane.

Bosco always came back,

Only to get loose another day.

LOL

Poor guy. But @Bowens the way you described your neighbor and the situation brought a really funny picture to my mind. :joy:

lol. yeah we generally help the neighbor catch him by letting him in our backyard or whatever.

But the comical nature of someone just standing still in their yard calling a dog over and over who does not listen at all and just frolics happily throughout the neighborhood, is undeniable .

We have this to look forward to our whole lives.

Isn’t middle age the best?

What scares me is thinking that in my 60’s or 70’s I’ll get nostalgic for 4 dollar hamburgers and Jenna Ortega movies or something. You know, 2020’s stuff.

I have a very common name that was the name of a famous character in cinema history.

On the phone, if people misunderstood my name, I would reference the movie and they would automatically know.

Now I reference the movie and no one knows what I’m talking about.

It’s a classic, hipster idiots!

Haha!
