If you have an older cat and a outgoing dog…the cat might not ever warm up to the dog.
It seems they get used to each other if they don’t have much choice in avoiding each other, but sometimes it takes a long time and an awful lot of fur on the floor.
Sorry for not being much help, I just tossed my kitten in the mix and didn’t intervene when the hissing started. The 5 year olds still smack the kitty, but she smacks back, so I don’t get too excited.
I have two awesome cats named Sisu and Biisi. I’d like to get a rabbit.
