My favorite musician is Carter Beauford. He is the drummer for the Dave Mathews band. He plays fusion beats. That is my style of playing the drums as well.

I grew up during Beatlemania; I was a little kid but I still liked them. They were always my favorite band/ musicians. Still are.
I took a Beatles class online. It was interesting but I was disillusioned with the teacher when halfway through the course he stated that Yoko Ono broke up the Beatles. By now, it’s common knowledge that she had a part in it, but there were a lot more major factors in the break-up besides her.
In fact, the Beatles had started having problems with each other and being in the band way back during the making of the White Album, way before Yoko came into the picture. Around that time they slowly started to grow apart from each other. When Yoko Ono came into the picture Paul, George and Ringo resented her and it caused great tension between all of them but the biggest factor in the break-up was money and their choice of business managers.
After Brian Epstein died they tried to manage their finances themselves but couldn’t do it. So what happened was that Paul McCartney wanted his father-in-law to manage the Beatles, but the other three had picked a guy named Allan Klein. They couldn’t agree and things got nasty and ugly and this disagreement was the catalyst that finally split them up.
They hadn’t been getting along very well anyways and this disagreement was the straw that broke the camel’s back. But there were other factors too. But I couldn’t believe that a teacher who was teaching a college course could make that mistake. It don’t matter, I did well in the course and got an A+, the only A+ I’ve ever gotten in college.

i have a new favorite artist like every year it seems. right now it’s tyler childers and jason isbell has a new album coming out in a couple days i hope is good. usually i like a folksy sound, although tyler childers is more alternative country, he’s my flavor of the month. there is a folk music festival each summer in a neighboring city that i go to.
off the top of my head, i like the black keys, van morrison, neil young,m. ward, ryan adams, sturgill simpson, chris stapleton, tyler childers, jason isbell, cat power, kacey musgraves, john hiatt, john prine, jj cale, bob dylan, vampire weekend, coldplay, it’s always changing who my favorite is.
