It was total scum. Will Smith assaulted Chris Rock. A joke about his wife’s hair loss may not be in his taste but that doesnt mean you can assault someone.

Will is sending mixed messages from the slap to his acceptance speech. I don’t put celebrities on pedestals. This just proves that they are as lost as we are!

It doesn’t matter what joke someone makes, you don’t hit someone at an awards ceremony. Physical violence is never the proper response to anything verbal.

Smith should have been arrested and removed from the theater. He wasn’t because he’s a rich, privileged actor who shares an ideology with the vast majority of the audience.

Will Smith could have gone up and told that making jokes about her illness is not ok. Instead Will Smith resorted to violence and swearing. Also Will Smith is a comedian and he could not take a joke? He doesn’t seem to be the guy he wants us to believe he is.

I would have done the exact same thing. I’m not proud of it but I know myself and I know that’s how I’d respond. Something similar happened with someone saying something about my mom and I did exactly what Will did only I went a lot farther. That’s all i can legally say.

Some are quick to anger but totally losing is not ok.
I wish I could get more angry. I never get mad or anything. But I’m a pushover and anxious all the time. Also I’m always conscious of my behavior and surrounding. I would never let myself lose it like that.

If Will Smith went to jail he’d deserve better treatment than the average person who went to jail because what Chris Rock said was lowdown and disgusting. On the other hand Will Smith could have called it lowdown and disgusting and had a very sympathetic audience and never got into trouble in the first place. There was a time I was called something lowdown by someone and for years had thoughts of going back in time and doing something violent. But I’m much better off for not doing that. Much of my guilt these days are from times I did otherwise.

I have never liked Will Smith ever since seeing him on Orange County Choppers many years ago receiving a motorcycle from the Teutels.
He was arrogant and so far up himself he could flip inside out.
Not a fan, and even less so now after this recent dramatic performance.
