Sorry for the delay. I’m listening to a late night radio show called Coast to Coast.
But I mainly made hip hop style beats. I have a ton I’ve made on my old computer. I made them all on Garageband.
They sound so fat and growly but warm at the same time I love it! Mellotrons are super versatile tho and they have some incredibly rich sounds too so Im torn lol theyre both soooo expensive also so its more of a dream for me than a decision
No worries! cool late night radio sounds super cozy. Garageband is really cool you can make some great stuff with it. I use FL studio and Im planning on switching to ableton soon, its so much better at audio manipulation but the piano roll isnt nearly as good so its a tradeoff I guess
Maybe just buy a nice 200 dollar keyboard with some cool sounds and effects. That way you don’t break the bank. 
Is Ableton Windows based?

Yeah on Coast to Coast they talk about a lot of paranormal topics. Tonight they’re talking about exorcisms atm.
Yeah I have a small midi keyboard which is nice but I want a true analog synth someday. Cost me $50 bucks tho compared to $3000 for a mellotron!
Ableton works on windows and mac, fl studio works on all platforms so its super nice if you have Linux. Fruity loops is super nice I love it a lot but the audio tools leave something to be desired for sure. If youre a midi guy, nothing beats it

Yeah, typically they talk about the fun creepy stuff around Halloween. I wish you could hear it, but I don’t think they play it on radio stations in Europe. I could be wrong though.

Ableton is so nice, @daydreamer is doing a class with it now and he says its really complicated tho and I believe him it isnt very approachable whereas fruity loops is. But very powerful with audio warping and stuff
That would be cool, but going by the name “Coast to Coast” I dont think they mean the mediterranean to the baltic haha so I might be out of luck. Which is a shame because exorcisms are cool

Me too! The Exorcist was one of my all time favs. I even went to the steps the priest got thrown down and took pictures haha! Its right next to the georgetown bridge and sandwiched between a liquor store and some nice houses lol
Very cool! The Exorcist is a masterpiece. I was about ten years old when I first saw it and it scared the living Hell out of me LOL!
Yeah but not bc of insomnia. My sleep schedule is just way off kilter
For about a month I wake up in the middle of the night, get up, eat, take a shower, and get dressed. I don’t feel tired. I check emails for a little while, then I got back to sleep for the rest of the night. When I do this I can more easily wake up in the morning.
Got maybe 3 hours of sleep tonight.
It’s 434am and I’m now drinking coffee.
I’ll wait for the crack of dawn 
It’s been not so bad after upping my dose of zyprexa. But I still get the odd night where it feels like I haven’t slept at all. And I never get any sleep in the daytime on these drugs. But maybe some day
