Who cuts your hair?

This might sound weird, but I do it better then my colleagues can do.I have it free where ever I worked, but can’t listen and answer all stupid questions like what are you doing now.Bit ashamed of disability pension I receive.

Still have beauty case with scissors, combs, brushes,so I go to to peoples houses to do the job. It’s called mobile hairdresser.

I do not like to go to the same barber too much. I’m scared they ask too many questions. Most barbers I have been to are nosy and like gossip. The same are true when I go to a salon sometime. I always get my hair cut quite short so I do not have to go back soon. I’ve moved to a new town most recently. My first hair cut was with a very nosy barber so he made me feel very uncomfortable. The next time I went for a cut at the salon with very friendly lady. I think I’ll visit her again.

Most of hairdressers like to do that.

Yeah it really makes me uncomfortable. And the scary thing is that they remember things so well. I once went to a hairdresser for the first time. I told her that I saw her salon on my way to buy pancakes from a bakery. I did not visit her for a long time. When I went to have my hair cut with her more than a year later she recognised me as the “pancake guy”.

Since I’m living with my parents currently my mom likes to cut it. When I lived by myself I used to cut my own hair or go to the barbers.

My step daughter cuts my hair. Occasionally she’ has got her friend who is a hairdresser to do it for me.
Before that when she was alive and well my wife did it.

I cut my own hair. I can’t afford to get it done AND I don’t like someone touching me and expecting to have a conversation with me. :haircut_woman:t2:

That’s the bit that puts me off going to a barber’s. That and trying to explain how I want it cut.

Me! Every time I go to a barber they just cut it in a way that I could’ve just used the hair clippers I already got, put the #3 on it and just cut it all.

Cut my own hair just cut it to a number one. Most of it has fallen out so why not, save some money.

Hate it when the barber runs the straight razor around my ears.

My Barber is usually very nosey and talkative with other customers.
He’s not so talkative with me because he gets the message that I’m not much of a conversationalist.

He also treats me as if I were mentally challenged.
Maybe having a Schizophrenia related disorder qualifies me as being mentally challenged, I don’t know.

Brought a grooming set for men awhile ago. It has several trimmers and clippers so have ended up just going over my head with the clippers like once a month for the last 5 months.

my dad has cut my hair a lot, mostly buzzed. I’ve let it grow out again though and just go to a local hairdresser and they do a pretty good job.

I go to the barbershop and get a high and tight. To the skin on the sides and the back. Habit from the milatary life, used to have a mullet in the 80s.

The barber talks too much, always has a new joke and is a little racist but he cuts hair okay. Hard to get a good high and tight at a salon, and they take so long. I just want to get buzzed, pay and leave. Wish I lived close to a military base still. They are very fast

I don’t like that usual girly chat in saloons so I do my hair by myself. Or I ask my sister for help.
