I’ve lived in both those states. I’m also currently living in az. I’d have to say az, mi
then nc. I never really got to explore nc.

Why do you like those two states?

I like az because of cool weather 8 months of year and my daughters are here. Michigan is cool because of lakes and beautiful winters. The one beach I went to in nc was cool.

I also lived in ca. The weather was the ■■■■ and being close to my cousins.

My own state of Michigan gets my vote. Mellow weather due to the Great Lakes.

They all have their perks. I have found something I liked everywhere I have been and after 26 years in the military I have called lots of places home.

My family keeps me where I am. If I didn’t have so much family here I would probably move overseas to Thailand or the Philippines.

i like that north carolina is just a little warmer than here most places, but also has cooler areas in the mountains, it has the mountains and the beach, and is a good place to garden, slight hippy scene around asheville, and craft beer. i’ve been there maybe 10 times in my life. o and great hiking.

i’ve only visited michigan twice but i loved the coastline around lake michigan and it was nicer where i was with well funded parks. beautiful golf courses, nice boats, it’s got ann arbor with michigan football. i was expecting michigan to be nothing special but i really enjoyed my trip. also the cherry trees, and growing craft beer scene there. those are some of the things i like about michigan. and walleye is tasty.

I cant even remember what the weather is like in nc. I’m not sure if it was because I was stoned the whole time or it was so long ago.

Big fan of Michigan though. I used to live near Lake Michigan. I’ve heard they have the best craft beer. I know nothing about craft beer.

Wyoming no state income tax, but bad weather.

Texas, Alaska, Nevada, Florida, and Tennessee I think.

I lived in Nevada for awhile too. It was fun to go down to the strip. Also lived in Maine. That was a peaceful state.

Miami I’ve had the best time there… I loved the Latin culture and the weather was great… the beach is very beautiful.

How long have you been on forum? Did you used to go by different name? You seem familiar and like a cool cat.

Cool @Lifer
New Jersey is the butt of a lot of jokes but it’s really a great state to live in.

4 seasons, great beaches, great hospitals, tons of five star restaurants, plenty of museums and cultural centers etc…

And who can forget Frank Sinatra and Bruce Springsteen!
