Where are the people who want to change the world?

I can find them. It’s like we’re all trained to accept this place for what it is. Struggle to exist inside of it.

Life should not be a prison.

Freedom through technology. Fulfillment through growth.

Solidarity through design.

And god damn we need some psychiatric reform. Integration of therapy.

I’ve been finding the people who want to change the world… and are working towards some good ideas… don’t make the cut on MSN or Fox news…

so we never hear of them.

Yeah I think your region would be a better place. The Midwest is a barren place when it comes to any intellectual community.

Work and play is all they do here. I don’t blame them but that just doesn’t work for me.

I’ve tried for years but can’t find any on the internet either.

The zeitgeist movement got some people riled up, but that was more playing on the popularity of conspiracy theories and criticism of government and economics.

I think this world is fine, a little unfair. But I’m pretty sure we could do better.

The people in college now… who are trying find the answers… they have hope and ideas…

Plus… any sort of change that has a chance of real impact and sticking… comes slowly.

they put them on psychiatric meds and let the Bildursburg Group run the world, they have years of practice at ■■■■■■■ things up

Yeah, the system was designed to change slowly so only the good ideas get through.

I’m talking about something else though.

Transcending the system. Shrugging of individualism and capitalism in search of new ideals.

Real community.

Not some top down order through law, but voluntaryist society. Existing beyond borders.

This is us and this is how we think. We are unified and have our network. If you see the vision we will accept you.

Sounds like some communistic cultist ■■■■ but I’m telling you it’s more modern then that:

Design tenants:
Longevity
Sustainable efficiency
All electric

Power sources:
Thorium
Solar

Education:
Personalized
Communal

Economics:
Standard of living(electrical cost)
Engineered automated abundance

Government:
Pure democracy
Forum based discussion and voting system
Posts are scanned, summarized and the collectively organized before each voting session
This is arranged over secure cellular device issued to each citizen.
Every voice is equal: let the merits of righteousness speak for themselves

Physical armaments are banned

The proper people will form the proper culture. They must see the vision and love it or they are not welcome.

Housing designers and engineers and researchers we would sell out soft services and technology for any currency needed to import specialty products.

Visitors quarter would feature hotels and shops for tourism and additional income.

Open access to knowledge and advanced computer software will allow everyone to take hand in customizing their lives.

Public transport only. To be debated. No roadways. Delivery systems available for secure movement of products.

Marijuana will be legal, but should be moderated.

It’s a place for techno hippies who don’t mind being vegan and going without heavy drugs.

Contemplating a trip park. A sort of museum for people to take acid and wonder around in. It’d be the only place it’s legal.

Everything inside the country would be free. Only outsiders have to pay. Exporting culture and science would be the backbone.

It’s just a dream, but I want to talk about it.

That would be interesting… as long as there would be guides for those who might have a bad trip… but at least people wouldn’t be afraid to get medical help because it would be legal there…

Yeah. Excellent hospitals would be a priority.

Also open information and encouraged discussion might give people greater awareness of health.

Mental illness would be taught about in schools just like physical health.

Obsessions, depression, hallucinations, all of it. Mania.

People would be given the warning signs.

I know people enjoy doing that stuff. It’s when the drugs hit the streets that things become a mess.

Some schools are already on this idea…

School-Based Adolescent Mental Health Programs
School-Based Adolescent Mental Health Programs

I hear that Seattle Schools are all over this and working to implement it fully in the next two years… right now there are only about 5 schools that have this in the curriculum. (which is 5 more then when I was in school)

little by little awareness is expanding.

Good to know. A lot of people from my town move out to Portland. Sis lived up there for a while. Sounds like good country. Progressive.
