Is it my imagination or are the locked posts disappearing. It used to be that you could still read a post after it was locked. Did some policy change?

They should still be visible. We do unlist (hide from thread list) or remove some threads if they are potentially harmful to people in our community, but we generally leave locked threads out in the open for anyone to read.

@SunLion. The Mods will sometimes both lock and delete a thread. However, in most instances locked threads are not deleted and remain visible.

There’s a shield icon next to the names of mods. We have five active mods: Rhubot, Moonbeam, Ninjastar, Jayster and me.
Ok, @anon9798425, one point strike me, in this site most of members suggest their medicine to others. Is it a good manner. I think other than psychiatric no body knows the functioning of medicine. We can share our experience. But about medicine it is dangerous.

No, sometimes it can be difficult to decide if a thread should be locked, removed, unlisted, or if it just needs a warning in it. So I have locked a thread and then immediately changed my mind. Just yesterday, I unlisted a thread and then changed my mind.

I have at least two threads got unlisted. I would rather not say the thread title. Now at least I understand what cannot be posted about religion.
