do you take b.s. from people?
I don’t fall into that category. Not sure what i would do.
@Daze
Did you read The Collected Schizophrenias by Esme Weijun Wang?
you see there’s not higher mind on here
why would they put up with the weather
You sound like you’re having a rough day. How’s the leg?
I’m not having a rough day, is that a criticism? I’m all about big talk.
No it’s not a criticism. Maybe i read you wrong. Glad you’re okay.
no, I read novels, and all the best. If it’s not the best, I won’t touch it.
You might end up learning something
I bought that book and have read parts of it but didn’t enjoy it too much. What did you think of it?
Well, this is not a popular opinion but you hear people say, “I don’t take no sh*t from no one”. Well, I have to sometimes.
I got a lot of ■■■■in high school because i read Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein 6 times, also love crime and punishment. I’ve read three john Steinbeck novels east of Eden, of mice and men and grapes of wrath. I use to love to read.
Is it humanly possible to have read every book ; even if you are of a higher intelligence !?
This will give an idea of how many books you could read per year. I read faster than 77% of people.
I guess I meant every book that matters
I loved when Unusual Beliefs was all deep random discussions
I guess everybody is afraid to do it now
I know we have smart people on here
You can’t have deep discussions that encourage delusional thinking.
Genius and delusional is a slippery slope
What’s the sense of having beliefs?
I think The Collected Schizophrenias is a very well written book. Some of it was a little triggering to me. But overall I had a neat experience with reading it.
@VanDam @Montezuma
I enjoy reading books about schizophrenia. It wasn’t my favorite though. I appreciate Elyn Saks’ book more.
Intelligence can be a pendulum depending on the topics discussed. This Skunk loves the classics though.
@cbbrown. Cannery Row is an excellent short book…by J. Steinbeck
