When you get injured, people send you flowers

But when you have sz, no one sends you flowers and call you dangerous.

The world is a biased, ■■■■■■ up place.

Not all people think we’re dangerous as we are rarely like 10% of the time dangerous staristically. Most ppl with sz arent dangerous.

That’s not what the public thinks at least.

When I got my physical disease, so many people sent me flowers and treats. But for my depression, no one cares.

Not that I care about that lol

I honestly think the stigma towards schizophrenia is getting better.
I’m glad to see tv commercials where schizophrenia is mentioned by name.

I do have hope for the future.

When I did two surgeries no one visited me or gifted me something. Just my parents visited me at the hospital.

That’s good at least.

I also wish that people have compassion to those suffering from acute psychosis. A lady ran away from a hospital after getting COVID-19. She probably thought someone kidnapped her because they took her to a quarantined hospital without explaining. The media made it like her mental illness was the problem and a risk to society. I mean, if I was suddenly taken away by ambulance to somewhere, I would freak out!

What I’m trying to say is that people treat sz differently.

I made new friends after sz who accepted my sz. I know there is people with stigma but there is also people without stigma. My current best friend knows everything about my sz including my meds. I even told him that I am violent off meds. He’s cool with it and calls me everyday.

i hardly ever get flowers, but i don’t care much. And I don’t think people ever comforted me with my sz and/or autism. But to be honest it doesn’t matter me much. I know my mom, dad and my siblings care about me.
